"I have just received the most wonderful surprise from EDL. I am overjoyed to have been offered this help. I have been ill with a rare disease and have been basically house-bound and bed bound for close to 9 years now. I live in a walk-up apartment building in NYC and now but I am trying to relocate long distance to another state where I have extended family. I need a home without stairs to enter and exit as I am wheelchair bound as well.
"I will be put this gift to good use to hire someone who can begin helping me to purge and pack up my belongings. My mobility is severely affected by the disease that I acquired some years ago. This help is a Godsend! The people at EDL are so kind and attentive and when I joined as a member, I never would have imagined I would receive help so quickly. They are just so wonderful. I will be saying many prayers of gratitude for them and sending them many blessings!
